Located in the historic shadow of the Acropolis, Lumen Living is a spatial transformation of three distinct apartments, totaling 120 square meters, within a culturally significant 1960s building.

This project represents a contemporary reinterpretation of Athenian modernism. Rather than erasing the past, the design engages in a silent dialogue with the original mid-century shell, blending the heritage of the city with modern architecture.

Given the unique urban fabric, harnessing natural light became the absolute protagonist of this residential narrative. Daylight is treated as a core material, sculpting the spaces to create an atmosphere of visual calm and protected extroversion.

By redefining internal boundaries, the interior design maximizes spatial permeability. The fluid transition between spaces reflects a deeply Mediterranean language, where earthy materiality meets minimalist purity. Lumen Living bridges the gap between private sanctuaries and high-end hospitality concepts, offering a regenerative experience.

It breathes new life into the 1960s apartment, creating a sunlit ecosystem that seamlessly connects the human scale with the monumental landscape of Athens.
